Although we are not an official couple (dating or husband and wife), the title of this article rings very much true in my life. I have many successful accomplishments and have many more in my sights.

Besides all I have become proficient in, I have many more dreams, passions, ambitions and goals which are really beginning to flourish.

I am driven to succeed and at times I make myself push foreword, even when the light at the end of the tunnel is dim and or can not be seen. One key factor which I will not overlook is, the woman who is a huge driving force behind all I am accomplishing now.

Call it a placebo or whatever you wish, but I believe it is indisputably due to the fact she amongst various other things is a dynamic futurist; a triple shot of caffeine into my veins of apathy, her input frequently has my immediate ear and is always timely and seldom rashly delivered because of her sleep on it philosophy (give it twenty-four hours and then address the issue. Unless it is of utmost urgency).

Unparalleled for me, she also happens to be a terrific friend, great performing and business partner.

Post Script: Through all my research I have concluded (unless other wise educated) the source for this proverb (Behind Every Great Man, There Is a Better Woman) is elusive! The phrase has also been much imitated and with good reason.

The facts are Men often owe their success to women. It is women which habitually and with strong persuasion, encourage them tick. The word 'great' may be replaced by 'good,' 'successful,' etc. The proverb is listed in the 1992 'Dictionary of American Proverbs' by Wolfgang Mieder from "Random House Dictionary of Popular Proverbs and Sayings" by Gregory Y. Titelman (Random House, New York, 1996).

I have also dually noted this truism, which for some unknown reason women seem to thoroughly enjoy: Behind every man there's a woman telling him he's wrong. This is because he usually is.
